Prayatna Nepal successfully organized a two-day Capacity Development Training on March 25–26, 2026 at Hotel Pension Vasana, Dillibazar, Kathmandu, under the Accompaniment Grant project. The training brought together 17 members of Sisters of Prayatna Nepal from Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces with the aim of strengthening leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.

The training focused on leadership development, teamwork, conflict management, organizational networking, negotiation, decision-making, and meeting minute writing. Participants also discussed network strengthening, code of conduct, monthly meeting management, and strategies for effective collaboration within the organization.

Interactive group exercises and practical sessions helped participants improve communication, coordination, and documentation skills. A major highlight of the training was the hands-on practice of meeting minute writing, which participants identified as one of their most valuable learnings.

Participants shared that Prayatna Nepal’s trainings have significantly contributed to their confidence, mobility, leadership capacity, and ability to advocate for their rights. The program concluded with reflections and feedback, where participants appreciated the inclusive, practical, and empowering learning environment created throughout the training.
